Community Growth is a Ugandan-registered, locally based, organization that focuses on empowering women, and providing them with the opportunity for increased knowledge and practical application for sustainable agriculture. This eliminates food shortages throughout the community and provides a small income for the women, as well as funds to keep the garden going year after year.
The vision and expectations of Community Growth are 3 fold:
- We expect to rebuild confidence and strength in women
- We expect to share knowledge throughout the neighboring villages
- We expect to provide a relevant method of improving local peoples current circumstances.
